Looking for a bed base or a metal bed frame? This range has steel frames with scroll headboards and steel slats in three listed sizes: a white single bed frame (90 x 190 cm, 150 kg), a black double metal bed frame (140 x 190 cm, 250 kg) and a black queen bed frame (160 x 200 cm, 400 kg).

The double and queen frames have an integrated slat system that supports the mattress without a box spring. Use the space beneath a frame for suitable storage boxes or spare bedding; check the clearance listed for the individual model. Measure your mattress and bedroom before ordering, and pair the bed with bedside tables or a wardrobe.

What is the difference between a bed base and a bed frame?

Both support a mattress. These metal bed frames also have scroll headboards and steel slats. The double and queen models state that no box spring is required.

Which sizes of metal bed frame do you have?

Single 90 x 190 cm (white), double 140 x 190 cm (black) and queen 160 x 200 cm (black).

Do I need a box spring or a separate bed base?

No. The steel slats support the mattress directly, so you do not need a box spring on the double and queen frames.

How fast is delivery?

Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town: 1–3 working days. Other areas: 3–6 working days.

When is delivery free?

Free delivery on orders of R750 (incl. VAT) or more in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town. Other areas: courier quote at checkout.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Not happy with something you bought on lasa.africa? Tell us within 30 days of the date you ordered, for any reason, and we will refund the full price of the product. What is not refunded when you change your mind: the delivery fee you paid when you ordered, and the assembly fee if our team has already assembled the item for you. If we have not assembled it yet, we refund the assembly fee too. Collection fee: R75, taken off your refund, when we collect the item from you. Dropping it off at our warehouse is free. If you cancel within 7 days of receiving your order, we also refund the delivery fee, as South African law requires. If an item is faulty, arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, we refund everything you paid, including delivery and assembly, and collect it for free.
